Comparing it to alcohol, booze does not fund terrorism. When booze was made illegal by a Constitutional amendment, people continued to have access to alcohol, and didn’t care that it was funding organized crime. People back then knew the mob was turning out Swiss cheese left and right with Chicago typewriters thanks to Jazz and liquor, and they simply didn’t care as long as they could get drunk. Organized crime is synonymous with modern day domestic terrorism.

While Al Qaeda and the Taliban don’t necessarily dirty their hands with weed, the “Mexican Mafia” does; a.k.a. White Fence, MS13, 19th Street, etc. Your local friendly neighborhood inner-city street gang is nothing more than a domestic terrorist group backed by international organized crime. They KILL people over Marijuana distribution territories.

Point is: Pots heads are drug users, and just like any other piece of shit, they will use any justification to excuse their bad behavior. It’s like a person who illegally downloads music, and then says that pirating music actually benefits the industry. Bullshit. What they should be saying is “I like to get high, and I don’t care if innocent people die in the process”.

Would you therefore agree that recreational drugs should be legalized? If I can get my heroin from a drug store (heh, “drug” store), why would I go to a dangerous, unreliable dealer? Mass legalization would destroy the underground drug economy and allow the government to step in with controls and regulations that would do a much better job of keeping harmful drugs out of the hands of kids.

Not to mention 9/11 was primarily funded by the Bush administration. The old Bush administration, not the W variety. Last time I checked Al Qaeda aren’t situated in the best of growing climates.
